Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in employee or labor relations.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, grievance procedures, and union relations.
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent digital communication, mediation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of conducting investigations and handling conflict with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Foster Positive Employee Relations.
• Proactively address workplace concerns to resolve employee conflicts through digital channels.
• Develop and maintain strong virtual relationships with team members, managers, and union representatives.
• Design initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and mutual trust.
• Implement employee feedback systems to gain insights and respond with meaningful change.
• Policy Interpretation & Compliance: guide labor regulations, union contracts, and company policies.
• Ensure digital practices align with local, state, and federal labor laws.
• Support disciplinary and grievance processes with accurate, timely documentation.
• Draft internal documentation and communication materials translating legal language into accessible content.
• Mediate virtual meetings and hearings with professionalism and clarity.
• Strategic Advising & Risk Mitigation: advise leadership on emerging employee issues and design programs to reduce risks in a remote-first environment.
