Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. seeks an L2 Technician to provide remote technical support within a designated geographic area.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide format printers, plotters, kiosks, POS systems, and related hardware/software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Level III or Lead Technicians to ensure timely resolutions, maintain service records, and support on-site engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
• Electromechanical experience a plus.
• Experience repairing laser and wide format printers.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist on-site technicians.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
• Deliver clear technical assistance to technicians onsite and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
