Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled L2 Technician to provide remote technical support within a designated geographic area in the United States.

You will troubleshoot, install, and repair laser printers, wide-format printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems, collaborating with Level III technicians to ensure timely resolutions. The role requires strong knowledge of printers, hardware, and software, with experience in electromechanical systems a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
• Electromechanical experience a plus.
• Experience repairing laser and wide format printers.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting on site technicians
• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
• Deliver clear technical assistance to technicians onsite and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
