Job summary

CompuCom is seeking an experienced L2 Technician to provide remote technical support across a designated geographic area in the United States. The role focuses on diagnosing, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide-format printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems, alongside related hardware and software.

You will collaborate with Level III or Lead Technicians to ensure timely resolutions. The position requires strong printer knowledge, hardware skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
• Electromechanical experience a plus.
• Experience repairing laser and wide format printers.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, plotters, kiosks, and POS systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
• Assist on-site technicians and coordinate with Level III or Lead Technicians.
• Provide clear technical assistance to technicians onsite and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
