Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, seeks a seasoned KAM to drive sales of Bioresearch instruments and software across the defined U.S. Midwest and surrounding states.

You will cultivate relationships with life science researchers, pharma and academic labs, delivering comprehensive solutions and ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. The role requires field travel, strong presentation skills, and expertise in absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, and imaging tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in life science or drug discovery preferred.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com CRM with data analysis capability preferred.
• 5 years of field sales experience with research instrumentation and knowledge of absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, Western blot and imaging tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory revenue goals and targets for the product platform in the assigned territory via direct and distribution channels.
• Proactively prospect for new customers and opportunities; minimum 3 days in the field within the territory.
• Proficient in SFDC with accurate and timely account data, sales opportunities progression, and F2F activities.
• Perform technical demonstrations, training, installations, and customer support for equipment and software; attend regional/product shows.
• Lead generation activities including e-blasts, seminars, partnerships, and in-field prospecting.
