Job summary
Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, seeks a strategic Key Account Manager to drive sales for the Bioresearch platform, including instrumentation and software, across life sciences and government sectors. You will build relationships to expand Molecular Devices’ market share and profitability, leveraging direct and distributor channels.
The role covers Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, with a remote-friendly structure and travel up to 50% including
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in life science or drug discovery is preferred.
- Experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com CRM is preferred.
- 5 years of Field Sales Experience with research instrumentation and imaging tech is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory revenue goals for the Bioresearch platform in the assigned territory.
- Prospect for new customers and opportunities, minimum 3 days in the field.
- Proficient in SFDC with accurate account data and opportunities updates.
- Perform technical demonstrations, training, installations, and customer support.
- Lead generation activities including e-blasts, seminars, and in-field prospecting.
