Job summary

Cartwheel is seeking a Mental Health Therapist (Contract) to deliver teletherapy and assessments for Pre K-12 students in partner districts. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role, 100% remote in the U.S., with rolling Fall 2026 start dates.

The ideal candidate holds an active Nevada license (LCSW/LMFT/LCPC), has 2+ years of pediatric telehealth experience, and can work after-school hours. Collaboration with school staff and potential clinical supervision are included.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada license to deliver mental health care independently (LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC).
• Two+ years of delivering mental health services to children via tele-health.
• Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, or related therapies.
• Must have reliable internet and be able to work after-hours (3–8 pm ET, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to Pre K-12 students and staff.
• Participate in case discussions with Cartwheel team members.
• Support transition to community care providers for students and families.
• Build collaborative relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families.
• If qualified, provide clinical supervision to other care team members.
