Cengage Group in Minnesota is seeking a Field Sales Consultant K12 to drive digital and print product sales in a remote role, covering a Minnesota territory. You will build strategic plans, meet sales goals, and forecast activity.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in education sales, with proven results and strong communication, relationship building, and CRM proficiency. You will travel to customer sites and conferences as needed, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum of 2 years of teaching, and education sales preferably in the publishing industry.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement performance.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationship with current and prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues, and management.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong competency in the use of business technologies, multiple applications, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to transport materials to customer locations is essential to this role, therefore must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided.

Responsabilités

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
