Job summary

Cengage Group in Minnesota (Remote) is seeking a Field Sales Consultant for K12 to drive growth and present digital and print solutions. You will engage in sales calls with prospective customers, forecast sales activity, and build strategic territory plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in teaching or education sales, a proven sales record, strong communication, and the ability to use CRM and MS Office tools. Remote role with a national customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; minimum 2 years teaching, and education sales experience preferred.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong competency in using business technologies, CRM and MS Office; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
