Job summary

Newsela is hiring a Sales Representative for Schoolytics. This role focuses on selling Newsela’s edtech suite to K-12 districts, managing the full sales lifecycle, and building a book of business in the Eastern and Central time zones.

The position offers remote work, with travel around 25%, and a compensation plan with base salary plus on-target earnings. You will engage district leaders, tailor solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to scale national growth, while leveraging AI tools

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle K-12 EdTech sales, hitting large quotas.
• Experience selling core curriculum, Assessment, Data warehouse, and MTSS.
• Strong prospecting, pipeline generation, and forecast accuracy in EdTech.

Responsibilities

• Own territory and lifecycle of a sale from prospecting to close.
• Develop territory plans and tailor sales strategies to district initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to drive Schoolytics growth and national expansion.
• Meet with district leaders to present solutions and negotiate terms.
• Influence revenue and strategy while managing multiple stakeholders.
