Job summary

Cooperative Business Services, LLC is seeking a CRE credit analyst to assess risk, analyze borrower statements, and support the Special Assets team in portfolio monitoring.

You will translate financial data into actionable insights, build financial models, and contribute to credit loss assessments. This role offers a remote work arrangement for eligible U.S. states and opportunities to collaborate across credit functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1–3 years in commercial credit analysis or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of financial statements and cash flow analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and modeling.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower financial statements, repayment capacity, and collateral to support CRE loan evaluations.
• Evaluate property income, expenses, occupancy, and cash flow to assess debt service.
• Support monitoring, recovery analysis, and scenario analysis as credit conditions change.
• Develop financial models and assess market scenarios for loan repayment and collateral support.
• Identify risks, document findings, and escalate where needed.
• Prepare credit memoranda and supporting documentation for reviews and portfolio monitoring.
• Collaborate with Special Assets, Credit Loss, and Client Reporting teams to aid recovery planning and reporting.
• Support improvements to data quality, reporting processes, and analytical practices.
