Job summary

ABB is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician for remote/on-site service work. You will execute service tasks per work instructions, identify operational improvements, and communicate timelines to customers.

Responsibilities include preparing material lists, ensuring parts availability, and training field service staff and customers as needed. NEC code compliance and 480V switchboard familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1 year of electrical preventative maintenance, installation and repair.
• Licensed field service technician experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in electrical trades.

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer on-site to identify improvements and pain points.
• Perform field service tasks and analyze issues remote or on-site.
• Prepare material lists and ensure parts and equipment are available and good quality.
• Train field service associates and customers when needed.
