Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver Level 1–2 remote and on-site support in a client-focused environment. You’ll troubleshoot Microsoft platforms, assist with networking concepts, and maintain thorough ticket documentation.

The role requires 2+ years in IT help desk or related education, plus a strong commitment to customer service and ongoing learning in security practices. Office 365 and AD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in an IT help desk or desktop support environment or equivalent educational experience
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft platforms (Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Desktop/Server)
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
• Experience diagnosing hardware issues, running diagnostics
• Understanding of IT security practices (virus remediation, firewalls, phishing)
• Basic Apple/macOS/iOS troubleshooting a plus
• Ability to quickly learn and support various business apps
• 1-3 years customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote technical support to clients
• Deliver strong customer service and manage ticket queue
• Document work details thoroughly for each ticket
• Collaborate effectively within a team structure
• Support business-class hardware/software and related systems
