Job summary

Systems Solutions of Paducah, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote and onsite technical support for clients. The role requires excellent customer service and the ability to work within a ticketing system, maintaining documentation and updates on trouble tickets.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in IT help desk or desktop support, familiarity with Microsoft platforms, networking basics, peripherals, and basic security practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in an IT help desk or desktop support environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft platforms (Office 365, Active Directory, Windows).
• Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining peripherals.
• Experience troubleshooting standard hardware issues and running diagnostics.
• Understanding of standard IT security practices (virus remediation, firewalls, phishing, etc.).
• Basic Apple, Mac OS, and iOS troubleshooting experience a plus.
• An Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
• 1-3 years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote and onsite support to clients.
• Work within a ticketing system and maintain a ticket queue.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date client documentation.
• Communicate effectively with users to provide updates on trouble tickets.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Works effectively within a team structure.
• Can effectively implement and provide support for business-class hardware/software.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and support various business applications.
