Job summary

New Charter is seeking a dedicated IT Desktop Specialist to join our Services Group in Amarillo, TX. You’ll provide on-site and remote support, install and configure client systems, and help keep networks secure.

This role requires 2–4 years in IT triage/help desk, strong customer service, and the ability to travel to local client sites. A HS diploma and MSP experience are preferred; MS900/AZ900 or CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Technical/College degree in Applied Science or Computer Technology is required.
• MS900/AZ900 or CompTIA A+ certifications are a plus.
• 2–4 years of IT triage/help desk experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support calls and assist clients remotely, in-office, and on-site.
• Maintain records and expense accounts using systems like ConnectWise.
• Track and ensure timely response to on-site support calls.
• Provide on-site client support and hardware maintenance and installations.
• Escalate issues as needed and learn new technologies.
