New Charter is seeking an IT Support Technician for an onsite role in Harahan, LA. The position supports end users and internal teams, handling Tier 1 issues, 35 hours per week, and 40k annual starting pay.

Requirements include strong customer service, communication skills, and a willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification. Prior MSP experience is a plus, with emphasis on Microsoft 365 support and basic networking.

Formación

• Experience delivering Tier 1 IT support.
• Strong written and verbal communication with end users.
• Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Demonstrated curiosity for technology and IT support.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support including password resets and basic system troubleshooting.
• Manage an average of 10–15 tickets per day with strong customer service.
• Communicate effectively with end users to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineering staff when appropriate.
