Systems Solutions of Paducah, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our local IT team in Paducah, KY, with optional remote work for qualified candidates. The role focuses on delivering Level 1–2 remote and on-site support, troubleshooting Microsoft Desktop systems, Office 365, Active Directory, networking basics, and virtualization in a professional setting.

Strong customer service and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an IT help desk or desktop support environment or equivalent educational experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft platforms (Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Desktop/Server).
• Knowledge of basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Experience troubleshooting standard hardware issues and diagnostics.
• Understanding of standard IT security practices (virus remediation, firewalls, phishing).
• Basic Apple, Mac OS, iOS troubleshooting a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and support various business applications.
• An Associate or Bachelor degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote technical support to clients.
• Work within a ticketing system and maintain a ticket queue.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date client documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date records of work performed on trouble tickets.
• Communicate effectively with users to provide updates on trouble tickets.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate industry skills and certifications.
