Job summary

Systems Solutions, an IT Managed Services Provider in Paducah, KY, seeks an IT Support Specialist. The role may be remote or based in the Paducah office.

Candidates should have strong customer service and experience troubleshooting Microsoft Desktop systems, Office 365, AD, and networking basics. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in help desk or desktop support, familiarity with Windows servers and virtualization, and a willingness to learn new business applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT help desk or desktop support
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft platforms (Office 365, AD, Windows)
• Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and diagnostics
• Understanding of IT security practices (virus remediation, firewalls, phishing)
• Basic Apple/macOS/iOS troubleshooting a plus
• Ability to quickly learn and support various business applications
• Associate or Bachelor degree in a technology field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote technical support to clients
• Work effectively within a team structure
• Support and troubleshoot business-class hardware/software
• Operate within a ticketing system and maintain queue
• Maintain thorough client documentation and updated records
• Aim for high customer satisfaction with timely updates
• Communicate progress on trouble tickets to users
• Maintain up-to-date industry skills and certifications
