Job summary

Systems Solutions, an IT Managed Services Provider in Paducah, KY, seeks an IT Support Specialist to deliver Level 1–2 remote and on-site assistance. You will work from our Paducah office and support systems, printers, and general IT infrastructure within a customer-focused team.

You’ll troubleshoot Microsoft platforms (Office 365, AD, Windows), manage tickets, document work, and maintain security best practices while growing technical certifications and knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ years IT help desk or desktop support experience or equivalent education.
• Experience Troubleshooting Microsoft platforms (Office 365, Active Directory, Windows).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN networking basics.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining peripherals (scanners, printers, etc.).
• Experience diagnosing standard hardware issues and running diagnostics.
• Understanding of IT security basics (virus remediation, firewalls, phishing).
• Basic Apple, Mac OS, iOS troubleshooting a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and support various business applications.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
• 1-3 years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 remote and on-site support to clients.
• Work within a ticketing system and maintain ticket queue.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and records of work on tickets.
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate updates to users on trouble tickets.
• Strong teamwork within IT group and with clients.
