Job summary

TES Staffing is seeking an IT Support Engineer to own day‑to‑day IT operations for a Greenport, NY client. The role blends remote work with on‑site visits, handling escalated issues, managing endpoints, and ensuring reliable access to essential software and networks.

The ideal candidate has solid MSP experience, strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 skills, and is comfortable with user provisioning, AD/Entra ID, and basic networking. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Not an entry‑level role; expects independent IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 administration, and user access management.
• Familiarity with endpoint deployment, hardware/software troubleshooting, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for day‑to‑day IT support and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot Tier 1–2 Windows, app, and network issues and manage user accounts.
• Support Active Directory or Entra ID environments and onboarding/offboarding.
• Coordinate with senior staff for complex infrastructure tasks and onsite visits as needed.
• Maintain documentation, asset records, and support procedures.
