Younger Enterprise Systems LLC is seeking an IT Support Engineer to install, configure, and support Windows-based systems, network devices, and services. MacOS/Linux experience is a plus; 5+ years of IT support are required.

Responsibilities include monitoring backups, triaging helpdesk tickets, configuring servers (SharePoint, Google Workspace, Synology NAS), deploying images, maintaining security, and providing end-user training. This role is primarily remote with local onsite work possible.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of recent IT support experience.
• Experience with backup systems, internet and cloud technologies, cybersecurity tools.
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to learn and apply company standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud and local backup solutions and troubleshoot failures.
• Triage and manage helpdesk tickets, initiate appropriate remedial actions.
• Provide tier 2+ customer support both remotely and on-site.
• Monitor computers and network devices.
• Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (SharePoint, Google Workspace, Synology NAS).
• Windows imaging and automated deployment; install and maintain common software packages (MS Office, Adobe, QuickBooks).
• Support mail clients and web browsers; update OS and applications on servers and workstations.
• Manage DNS/name server registrations and transfers; provide end-user training and documentation.
• Participate in network design, firewall/VPN/SD-WAN deployment, and IP telephony support.
