Job summary

ProTech IT Solutions, LLC, a New Charter Technologies Company, seeks a skilled System Administrator to support clients both remotely and on-site in Westchester County and NYC. You will manage Windows Server environments, Office 365, TCP/IP networks, and cloud basics in AWS/Azure while guiding junior staff.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in system administration, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.
• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.
• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.
