Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to support a DHS OCIO initiative, guiding a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and staff.

This role is remote and requires strong communication, leadership, and a track record delivering complex IT/tech projects. You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, maintain roadmaps, forecast budgets, and report progress to federal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contracts and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and presentation abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across data science, data engineering, and development.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from planning/ideation through deployment/implementation.
• Facilitating weekly working group meetings with senior Federal staff to align project progress.
• Developing and managing relationships with federal stakeholders to advance initiatives.
• Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around goals and technical requirements.
• Maintaining a project roadmap.
• Managing schedules, resources, risks, and priorities.
• Preparing and delivering status updates to federal stakeholders and for monthly contract deliverables.
• Maintaining budget forecasting, ROM estimates, and cost-tracking documentation.
• Mentoring junior team members as needed.
