Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to work remotely on a high-visibility DHS OCIO program. You will guide a cross-functional team including data scientists, engineers, and staff to deliver data solutions that empower federal customers.

You will lead technical projects, identify process improvements, and mentor team members while leveraging cloud-native data and AI technologies to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• 10+ years IT experience with large-scale data architectures.
• Experience maturing strategic solution ideas.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SAS.

Responsibilities

• Complete development efforts across data pipeline and data provisioning.
• Partner with data scientists and stakeholders to deploy models to production.
• Write code to ensure performance and reliability of data extraction and processing.
• Support continuous automation for data ingest.
• Advocate lean–agile engineering, API-first design, CI, version control, automated testing.
