Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to work remotely, guiding a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, developers, and staff to support a DHS OCIO data analytics platform.

You will lead end-to-end IT projects from planning through deployment, facilitate weekly alignment meetings with federal stakeholders, maintain a project roadmap and budget, and mentor junior team members in a high-visibility federal program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience managing IT/technology projects.
• Experience leading technical and strategy teams in data science, data analytics, and data management.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and other project management methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams in a federal contracting environment.
• Understanding of DHS/OCIO requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from planning to deployment.
• Facilitating weekly working group meetings with senior Federal staff to align progress.
• Developing and managing relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure progress.
• Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around goals and requirements.
• Maintaining a project roadmap and budgets, ROM estimates, and cost-tracking docs.
• Overseeing junior team members and providing mentorship.
• Preparing and delivering status updates to federal stakeholders for monthly deliverables.
