Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to support a high-priority DHS OCIO data analytics initiative.

This remote role guides a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and developers to deliver scalable data pipelines and production models for federal customers. You will own data architecture decisions, implement lean-agile practices, ensure data quality, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders at multiple leadership levels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with large-scale data architectures.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SAS for data manipulation.
• Experience mentoring data engineers and performing code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines to store, manage, and provision to data consumers.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and stakeholders to deploy models.
• Write code for reliable data extraction and processing performance.
• Lead lean-agile practices and CI/CD automation.
• Mentor team and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Evaluate new technologies and assess risks.
