Job summary

SHI is seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our Modern Workplace Services team. This remote, work-from-home role supports a 24/7 operation and involves receiving service requests, creating tickets, and dispatching Field Service Technicians for IT and POS repairs.

You will communicate with SHI colleagues and customers by phone, Teams, and email, monitor assignments, adjust schedules, verify details, and stay flexible for evenings, weekends, and on-call nights to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience with MS SharePoint for documents and workflows.
• Experience managing computer systems and networks.
• Efficient mail intake and processing.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests and create tickets for Field Technicians.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers via phone, Teams, and email.
• Monitor call assignments and ensure proper dispatch.
• Make system corrections based on field feedback.
• Monitor email for requests and critical communications.
• Update technician schedules to reflect changes.
• Verify complete customer information for dispatch.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call overnights.
