Job summary

SHI is seeking a Dispatcher to join the Modern Workplace Services (MWS) team. This remote, work-from-home role handles service requests, tickets, and dispatches to Field Service Technicians for IT and POS hardware repairs.

The Dispatcher will serve as a primary contact via phone, Teams, and email to ensure timely service delivery. The position supports a 24/7 operation, requires flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and involves close collaboration with SHI employees and customers to

Qualifications

Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience handling dispatch or help-desk style workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive service requests from customers and create tickets in SHI’s system.
Dispatch work orders to Field Service Technicians.
Communicate with internal teams and customers via phone, Teams, and email.
Monitor and oversee call assignments to ensure requests are handled.
Make system corrections and adjustments based on field feedback.
Monitor emails for new service requests and critical communications.
Update technician schedules and maintain accurate dispatch data.
Work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and be on-call overnight when needed.
