Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior IT Portfolio & Governance Lead to drive IT portfolio governance from a remote location in the USA. You will coordinate demand intake, prioritization, reporting, and governance administration to align initiatives with business priorities.

You will partner with IT and business leaders, ensure data integrity, and support PMO practices by developing templates and reusable governance assets while guiding project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, demand management, or related functions.
• Experience supporting project or program delivery activities within IT organizations, including portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills to support governance processes and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot) to support portfolio management and governance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes such as demand intake, prioritization, portfolio reviews, and reporting.
• Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility through dashboards, metrics, and analytics.
• Support PMO process adoption and operational excellence through processes, tools, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain PMO templates, governance artifacts, and project lifecycle documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to project managers and teams on PMO processes and governance requirements.
