Job summary

Baseten is seeking an IT Support / Operations Engineer to bring IT in-house and deliver high-touch technical support to employees. You will handle day-to-day issues, manage provisioning and deprovisioning, and own onboarding, while optimizing office IT infrastructure and workflows.

The role combines hardware and software troubleshooting, asset management, and vendor coordination in a remote-first, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IT hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience provisioning, deprovisioning, and managing user access across systems.
• Experience with onboarding new employees (laptop setup, account configuration).
• Familiarity with office IT infrastructure and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical issues for Baseten employees.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across macOS and Windows.
• Own user lifecycle administration across all systems and services.
• Lead IT onboarding for new employees from setup to first-day experience.
• Maintain and improve office IT infrastructure for reliability and performance.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base to reduce ticket volume.
• Manage IT asset procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Support new office buildouts and broader workplace IT planning.
• Identify opportunities to automate IT workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
• Adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing company.
