Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to keep our distributed, cloud-forward infrastructure secure and productive. You’ll support both macOS and Windows, manage M365/Azure AD, and drive automation across identity and access technologies.

You’ll join a small IT team around 230 employees, with a daytime-focused schedule and opportunities to own the processes you touch. Remote-first with global teammates and strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience including at least 3 years in systems administration.
• Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments.
• Hands-on administration with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, plus collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts such as SSO, MFA, ZTNA, PAM/JIT, IdP.
• Experience with MDM platforms and scripting in PowerShell, shell, or Python.
• Exposure to ticketing systems and RPA tools; knowledge of ITIL workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated technical support for laptops, SaaS apps, availability, and identity issues.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding; device provisioning and access management.
• Manage hardware inventory, warranties, and refresh cycles with MDM like Intune and Jamf.
• Lead automation projects to improve efficiency and consistency across systems.
• Build and maintain operational playbooks and documentation.
