Baseten is seeking an NYC-based IT Support / Operations Engineer to help bring IT in-house and support a hybrid, high-touch environment. The role focuses on hardware and software troubleshooting, user lifecycle management, and maintaining our modern office IT infrastructure.

You will also contribute to systems administration and workflow automation as Baseten scales. The position is hybrid, based out of our San Francisco office with three days in-person weekly to ensure a reliable office setup

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Workspace administration and identity management.
• Hands-on macOS administration at scale in a mixed Windows environment.
• Experience with automation to streamline IT workflows.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the escalation point for day-to-day IT support across Mac and Windows devices.
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access across systems.
• Oversee IT onboarding for new employees, including hardware setup and accounts.
• Maintain and improve office IT infrastructure and AV systems.
• Develop self-serve knowledge resources to reduce ticket volume.
• Handle IT asset procurement, inventory tracking, and vendor relations.
• Assist with office buildouts and broader workplace IT planning as we scale.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Adapt to evolving needs of a fast-growing company.
