Placements24 is seeking a proactive Helpdesk Support Technician to join our fully remote IT team. You will be the first point of contact for employees, providing remote assistance to resolve technical issues quickly.

The ideal candidate is proficient with Windows and macOS, skilled with TeamViewer/AnyDesk, and capable of troubleshooting network problems from a remote setting. You will document solutions and support uptime, contributing to a collaborative virtual team environment.

Qualifications

2+ years in a helpdesk or IT support role.
Proficient with Windows and macOS and common office productivity software.
Experience with remote support tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk.
Strong understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation, with remote work ability.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using remote access tools and diagnostic software.
Install, configure, and update software applications remotely.
Manage user accounts and permissions within the IT systems.
Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors.
Create and maintain technical documentation and support guides for users.
