Job summary

MG-IP Law, PC (Muncy, Geissler, Olds & Lowe, PC) is seeking a full-time, fully remote IP Docketing Assistant to join our growing team. The role involves reviewing, prioritizing, processing, and docketing incoming mail and email, including client and USPTO correspondence, and opening new matters.

You will create and maintain electronic files, ensure compliance with USPTO requirements, support patent prosecution, prepare invoices and reports, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2 years of general IP experience.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Precise proofreading and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient in Chrome and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift/carry at least 20 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, process, and docket incoming mail and email from clients, foreign associates, opposing counsel, and USPTO.
• Open new matters and create/maintain electronic files; ensure compliance with USPTO requirements.
• Support patent prosecution through administrative and docketing tasks; prepare client correspondence and invoices; generate reports.
• Maintain spreadsheets/databases and proofreading of documents; file documents with USPTO.
• Maintain compliance with USPTO rules and MG-IP policies; participate in special projects as needed.
