Job summary

Clarivate seeks a Senior IP Analyst to support filing and prosecution, including docketing, IDS, and reference management for customers. The role emphasizes accurate document handling and coordination with USPTO and foreign agents in a global, remote US setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years docketing experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and familiarity with TIPMS and Microsoft Office. Remote US work with CST/EST preferences.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of patent docketing experience.
• Experience using IP management software, specifically TIPMS.
• Experience in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a global environment.
• Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives.
• Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international communications in IP management software.
• Routinely review and file prosecution related documents with the USPTO for all stages of prosecution.
• Manage, create and maintain documents on behalf of customers per their directions.
• Prepare documents for signature and collaborate with customer contacts to fulfil requirements of various patent offices.
• Maintain customer docket and run reports and manage deadlines and status of applications.
• Develop knowledge of domestic and international IP office rules and procedures.
• Assist in establishing policies and procedures for quality improvements.
• Document and track daily work in time-tracking system within deadlines and SLAs.
• Liaise across business areas to meet customer expectations with service levels.
