Job summary

Thefreelancefirm, a national network of experienced, freelance attorneys and paralegals, seeks a qualified IP Paralegal / Docketer for remote, contract-based work. This role is ideal for someone with strong docketing capabilities to support IP matters on a flexible, on-demand basis.

Remote work hours will be approximately 10+ per week, with responsibilities including docketing, deadline management, and supporting patent/trademark prosecution activities in coordination with USPTO and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IP paralegal, docketing, or similar experience.
• Strong IP docketing and deadline management skills.
• Experience maintaining patent and/or trademark dockets.
• Ability to calendar and track USPTO and international deadlines.
• Experience reviewing USPTO, WIPO, foreign counsel correspondence and updating deadlines.
• Experience supporting patent/trademark prosecution matters.
• Understanding of USPTO procedures and timelines.
• Proficiency with Alt Legal Docketing Software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
