Job summary

MG-IP Law, PC (Muncy, Geissler, Olds & Lowe, PC) is seeking a full-time IP Assistant to support its Intellectual Property practice. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative, experienced team and to handle a mix of administrative and IP-specific duties.

The successful candidate will assist the Group Manager in coordinating client work, maintaining professional responses, and ensuring compliance with USPTO rules and MG-IP policies.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have 2 years of general IP experience.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Sufficiently computer literate and capable in Chrome and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support team operations by managing overflow assignments and coverage during absences.
• Handle special or unique projects as needed.
• Audit deposit accounts and credit card charges; prepare refund requests and fee deficiency submissions.
• Review file histories to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with USPTO requirements and MG-IP policies.
