Reed Smith LLP in Philadelphia is seeking an IP Specialist to support data management, data audits, and processing and docketing communications for patent and trademark matters. The role includes reviewing, downloading, scanning and coding documents according to established policies and procedures, and assisting with inbound/outbound transfers of client records and matters.

You will use Digital File, PATTSYWAVE and PracticeLink, create docket reports and data extracts, support IP client portal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of patent prosecution experience, domestic and foreign.
• Experience in IP field within a law firm or corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and docket communications for IP matters.
• Update records in management systems and generate reports.
• Support IP data audits in Digital File, PATTSYWAVE and PracticeLink.
• Assist with client document transfers and IP portal setup.
• Create docket reports and data extracts upon request.
• Support software implementation projects and respond to internal requests.
