Husch Blackwell LLP, a full-service litigation and business law firm with multiple U.S. locations, seeks an IP Docket Specialist. The role monitors shared mailboxes, docketing deadlines, and manages IP docketing tasks under the Senior IP Docket Manager.

Requirements include a 2-year degree or paralegal certificate (4-year degree preferred) and 3–5 years IP docketing experience with PattsyWave. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Excel, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate; a 4-year degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of IP docketing experience with PattsyWave or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of patent and trademark prosecution workflows.

Responsibilities

• Docket for designated groups across offices and mailboxes with deadlines identified.
• Verify timekeeper assignments and ensure docket accuracy.
• Create, review, and distribute matter reports.
• Respond to requests regarding docketed dates and agency rules.
• Collaborate with IP Docket Manager to improve processes.
• Assist with onboarding of portfolios and special projects.
• Stay current with US and foreign filing regulations.
