Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP in the United States is seeking an IP Docket Specialist to monitor shared mailboxes and docket items using the firm’s IP docketing software. The specialist reports to the Senior IP Docket Manager and collaborates with the Docket Team on ongoing and special projects, while staying current with US and foreign filing rules.

Required: a 2-year degree or paralegal certificate (4-year degree preferred) and 3–5 years’ IP docketing experience with PattsyWave.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of IP docketing experience with PattsyWave.
• Strong knowledge of patent and trademark prosecution processes.

Responsibilities

• Docket for designated assignment groups and verify deadlines.
• Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports.
• Collaborate with the IP Docket Manager to improve practices.
• Stay current with US and foreign filing rules.
