Ethos is seeking an experienced IP counsel to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will handle trademark and copyright matters with drafting and review responsibilities for filings and opinions.

This remote, part-time role offers 5–20 hours per week, starting ASAP, at $100 per hour, with flexible scheduling and exposure to cutting-edge AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark and/or copyright law at a firm or in-house IP team.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Draft and review trademark filings and office-action responses.
• Provide copyright infringement and fair-use analyses.
• Prepare licensing and assignment agreements reviews.
• Maintain portfolio and docket trackers.
• Refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
