Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced IP counsel to train and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across trademark and copyright workflows. You will draft and review filings, respond to office actions, and evaluate infringement and licensing matters for a flexible, remote engagement.

The role requires 4+ years of trademark/copyright practice, expert document craftsmanship, and precise written communication. Flexible 5–20 hours per week with ASAP start is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark and/or copyright law at a firm or in-house IP team.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft or review trademark filings and office-action responses as part of AI-generated document workflows.
• Provide infringement opinions and fair-use analyses for AI-generated work products.
• Review licensing and assignment agreements and handle cease-and-desist communications.
