Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced IP portfolio manager to help train an AI model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will handle trademark and copyright matters, including clearance opinions, office actions, and infringement analyses, while reviewing licensing and assignment agreements.

This is a fully remote, flexible engagement with 5-20 hours per week. Licensing and docket tracking capabilities are essential, as is direct drafting or review experience and exceptional

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years in trademark and/or copyright law.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions.
• Excellent written communication and document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Perform trademark clearance and registrability opinions, and office-action responses.
• Conduct copyright infringement and fair-use analyses.
• Review licenses and assignment agreements; advise on cease-and-desist communications.
• Maintain portfolio and docket trackers for ongoing IP matters.
