Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel to support a cutting-edge AI project on a contract-focused basis. The role emphasizes reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and redlining technology transaction agreements like MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.

You will evaluate AI-generated contract responses, develop playbooks and grading criteria, and provide precise legal feedback to improve AI systems and risk evaluation.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA‑accredited law school is required.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
• Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related commercial agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to contract and negotiation scenarios.
• Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy and reasoning.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, playbooks, and grading criteria for contract tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines and practices.
• Assess contractual risks and provide practical recommendations.
