Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel to support an AI-driven legal project on a remote, part-time basis. You will handle technology transactions, draft and negotiate contracts, and provide precise redlining feedback.

You will review AI-generated contract responses, develop standards and playbooks, and collaborate with product and research teams to refine guidelines and mitigate contractual risks.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
• Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related commercial agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to contract and negotiation scenarios.
• Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy and reasoning.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks, playbooks, and grading criteria for contract-related tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines, datasets, and best practices.
• Assess contractual risks and provide practical recommendations based on technology transaction experience.
