Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel for a remote, part-time contractor role to support an innovative AI project focused on technology transactions and contract governance. You will draft, negotiate, and redline MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs; review AI-generated contract outputs; and develop playbooks and evaluation criteria to improve legal risk assessment.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D., active bar in a U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs and related agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability translate legal feedback for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to contract scenarios.
• Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy.
• Develop evaluation playbooks and grading criteria for contract tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine guidelines.
• Assess contractual risks and give practical recommendations.
