Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel (Contractor) to support a cutting-edge AI project. You will review tech contracts, draft and redline agreements, and provide strategic legal feedback.

The role focuses on technology transactions, MSA/NDAs/DPAs, risk analysis, and collaborating with product and research teams to refine guidelines and playbooks for AI-enabled contracting.

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar.
3+ years of counsel experience in technology transactions.
Experience drafting and negotiating MSAs, NDAs and DPAs.
Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
Ability to translate legal expertise into AI feedback.

Responsibilities

Perform simulated contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
Review and evaluate AI responses to contract and negotiation scenarios.
Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy and reasoning.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks, playbooks, and grading criteria for contract tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines and datasets.
Assess contractual risks and provide practical recommendations based on technology transactions.
