YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel (contract, remote, part-time) to support an AI research project focused on technology transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining.

You will review AI-generated legal content, provide precise feedback, and help develop playbooks and evaluation criteria for MSA, NDAs, and DPAs, collaborating with product and research teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
3+ years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform simulated contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
Review and evaluate AI responses to contract and negotiation scenarios.
Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy and reasoning.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks, playbooks, and grading criteria for contract-related tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines, datasets, and best practices.
Assess contractual risks and provide practical recommendations based on technology transaction experience.
