YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel to support an AI-driven legal project on a part-time, remote basis. You will handle technology transactions, draft and negotiate contracts, and provide precise feedback to improve AI-generated guidance.

The role emphasizes evaluating AI responses, redlining, and developing playbooks and grading criteria to ensure contractual risk is managed effectively while working cross-functionally with product and research teams.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
3+ years of counsel experience focused on technology transactions.

Responsibilities

Perform simulated contract drafting, negotiation, and redlining exercises.
Review and evaluate AI responses to contract and negotiation scenarios.
Provide precise legal feedback to improve AI accuracy and reasoning.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks, playbooks, and grading criteria for contract-related tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines, datasets, and best practices.
Assess contractual risks and provide practical recommendations based on technology transaction experience.
