Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with construction or contracting industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Process and reconcile payments to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoices and payments.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to invoice processing.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
